The Civil Aviation Special Administrative office’s good government code has been made and adopted with the participation of the company’s top managers. The writing of this code expresses a renewed commitment to execute public functions the best way. This leads us to an integral, transparent, efficient performance to stick to the government’s core aim which is no other than common benefit.
Colombia’s Aeronautical Authority is represented in legal terms by its general director and its senior executives are aware of how important this code is as part of the strategic objectives set to reach proposed goals. The internal control standardized system (MECI) will contribute to strengthening the entity as part of Colombia’s public administration and will certainly become a tool for a continuous search of efficiency, transparency and socialization of such public acting.
The good government code is intended to be implemented by government institutions and is based on Colombia’s presidency’s decree 3622, 2005(1) to comply with international civil aviation regulations, especially those which intend to guarantee an ordered development, a safe and an appropriate use of the country’s airspace, contributing to provide the right safety maintenance and protect the country’s sovereignty. Taking advantage of Colombia’s competitive advantage is how we can make it easy to provide different transportation means as stated in the company’s mission statement
We encourage all company staff to be aware of this code for the daily development of their individual and group activities.
